Maternity and newborn sessions offer a variety of posed and candid images. Maternity
sessions are shot at beautiful outdoor locations. We will work together to find the
perfect location. Maternity sessions are suggested to be done between 30-36 weeks.
These sessions will typically last 1 hour.
Newborn sessions typically take place within the first 14 days of birth. This ensures we get lots of
sleepy newborn photos. Please schedule your session 7 days after your due date. We
can adjust if needed. These sessions are done in home to ensure baby and mom can feed comfortably if needed. Newborn sessions last approximately 2-3 hours. Before I arrive, please make sure you feed baby and loosen baby’s diaper.so we don’t have red marks. I will look for the best lighting conditions and will often set up next to a large window or sliding glass door. Please don’t be surprised If I ask for some furniture to be moved. Typically, I will need a 8 foot by 8 foot area to shoot. I bring tons of props and baby wraps so no need to worry!

Package pricing includes travel within a one hour radius from Rocklin, CA. I'm always open for traveling further. Let's chat and I can give you a custom estimate.
Yes, custom albums can be added to any of my packages. Custom album design starts at $700. My albums are high quality and will last a lifetime. I find most my clients want the digital images which is why I offer albums as an add on.
I offer color, whitening balance and small blemish removals. I do not include major edits such as removing a person from a photograph.
Yes, you can order professional quality prints through the online galley. You will have six months to order prints from the gallery. Family and friends can also order from the online gallery.
Typically I spend 4-6 hours editing a session. This is why it takes so long. I may have weddings & sessions ahead of yours.
Yes! personal use is included in my packages. The images may not be sold or used in a commercial manor without my written permission.
Good news! Digital images are exempt from sale tax. You only pay sales tax on albums and prints. packages are the price you see online.
This number is unique to each session. On average I would say 80-200 images.
I aim for 3-5 wrapped basket sets and 1-2 sets on a blanket. Then with family we can either do lifestyle images, hanging out in bed or the couch, or posed images. If we have enough time and baby is happy I'm happy to try to get both styles for family images.
Yes absolutely! The 14 day rule is flexible. The reason newborn photographers say 14 days is because the older your baby gets the more awake they will be. I've photographed newborns up to a month with no problems. Your baby may have some wide-eyed shots the older they get.
